click the sim -> NRaas -> Master Controller -> Advanced -> Edit in Create-a-Sim and then on the Basics tab, change Human to PlantSim
The second method is quicker since you don't have to wait for CAS to load:
click the sim -> NRaas -> Master Controller -> Intermediate -> Occult: Add, click PlantSim, and then the big checkmark button. The downside of going this route is that you have to go into CAS anyway if you want to adjust the Sim's physical appearance, so this method works best for simple stuff like making Witches and Vampires where they retain their original appearance.
Go to nraas.net and click on Master Controller on the right side of the page. On the Master Controller page are four add-in modules, so select the one(s) you want, download them, extract them (they'll have one .package file inside), and put that file into the \Mods\Packages folder.
I was kind of afraid that those MC interactions needed Cheats. I've used it for so long that I often forget which MC interactions require it and which don't. The Integration add-in mostly just makes the game always use MC's Create-a-Sim rather than the default one. This isn't a huge deal unless you want lots of sliders and then it becomes kind of necessary.
