How remove a member from a household

I have me and my friend and my husband and a cat but I want to remove the at so she can have her husband and a kid and I can have three.

You can put your cat up for adoption if you click on your sim's phone or a computer. It should say "Put pet up for adoption" or something like that. The social worker will arrive later that day to take the pet away.

removing pets from households is like the saddest thing ever but if thats really what you want to do go to a phone and press the put pet up for adoption

Or just ignore the pet for a while and the social worker will come and take it away that’s what they did to me when I only had the cat for like three days I put out food and the bed and I talk to it once or twice and the next thing I know they took it away. That’s when I stop playing with the pets expansion if my Sim had the inclination to come home from work and play with the animal on its own without me having to instruct it it would be fine but they don’t

Leads to total game corruption because the testingcheats object deletion only gets rid of the sim's (cat's) body. The sim data is still in the game. Not really recommended.

So that's why I watched one of my games slowly collapse into chaos after going on a random deletion spree XD
