Is it possible to join the Alchemy Career without Ambitions?

Hi All,

Just picked up Sims (Generations, Seasons, Pets) and Supernatural recently. My witch has a desire to join the Alchemy Career, but I do not see that option at City Hall or anywhere else. I do not have Ambitions (yet)...Just wondering if this wish can be achieved without that EP.

Oh, not sure if it matters, but I am playing in the town that comes with Supernatural.

Alchemy skill is part of Supernatural, so your Sims should be able to learn it. That said, the ability to officially be self-employed using a skill that produces items is part of Ambitions, so you can't do it without that.

There's no Alchemy career, as such, there's just the ability to register as a self-employed alchemist.
