Got married with another sim from town and can't control her...
So, my sim was alone at university then she met a sim there, and they were in a relationship, you know. I made her my sim's roomate after university, at the main town, then moved her in with my sim and then they got married but still, i cant control the other sim that is not from my household. I can see her icon left below but i can't click or control her. I tried using a cheat code that i saw from a website, it was like ''add to household'' but it didnt work. I made them move out together again after marriage but nothing changed. I need a solution, some help would be nice.

It is never a good idea to move a sim into our homeworld households while they are in the visiting sim state. Visitors from foreign worlds (Uni World counts as foreign) arrive in a scaled down version mini-sim version without all of their data, and with the real sim still existing back in the world they came from. With several NRaas mods in play, this method becomes safer - by name the mods would be Overwatch, ErrorTrap, Traveler, and RelationshipPanel. Another even safer mod way would be, when the target sim is not present in the homeworld at all, use MasterController to force them in as a full resident to your own household, that of another, or one of their own. On the target lot, NRaas > MC > Add Sim > Homeworld > (filter to Uni World).

The making of the other sim a roommate first, if you meant in a formal roommate service kind of way who is not controllable but pays rent each sim week, might also be making things worse. Roommates are NPCs, not really members of the active household. NPCs who do not have proper households shouldn't really be married to our sims, they should be made into controllable household members first.

A safer way to have approached this might have been to get the sim to join your household while in Uni World. Then they should have become part of your controllable active household, returned home with your sim at the end of the term/trip, and remained controllable as the full version sim they always were. Any chance you can revert to a prior save and try it that way?

Sorry for answering really late. So i tried copying the other sim from University life by using ''Edit Town', placed her to my sim's house again, and other stuff. So I tried a lot of things but nothing changed. And because of splitting up the family then merging them again, my sim and other sim's relationship is best friends right now. They were married, you know.. I think I'll make a copy of that sim from CAS and then add her to my main sim's household.. Thank you anyways!
