It was, a long time ago, possible to woohoo Grim, and even get pregnant by him, but, the pregnant possibility was fixed in a patch very early on (sometime around 2011 or 2012, I think.)

Sorry, I do not know if it is still possible to woohoo. I don't believe marriage was ever possible.

Grim. for anyone wanting to give it a try is most definately male.

Could be mistaken, but I was under the impression that the patch locking that down was one of the very first released back in 2009 before WA, the first EP, came out. Was before my time with the game regardless.

It has been suggested several times to two core mod developers (one being Twallan now retired, the other the developer of AwesomeMod, both professional programmers) that they re-allow Reaper romance and pregnancies. Both independently investigated and came to the same conclusion that EA did, absolutely not. Grimmy has his status as a special Service Sim and cannot be meddled with in those ways without the game breaking. It's the same special status that Emit Relevart, the ITF Time Traveler, has.

NRaas Woohooer does provide a convoluted way to woohoo with Grimmy (safely, no babies), but it happens off-screen and doesn't provide any path to real romance or a romantic relationship. And you can befriend him, although that's tricky and he often has not very sociable traits, at least in my game.

There is another way to consider, though. If you have the Door of Life and Death TS3 store item, also part of the Grim's Ghastly Manor set, the Reaper who "lives" behind the door is not the real Grim Reaper. He is a Role Sim. Many players have found one or more of these imposters reassigned by their game to do other Role Sim things like tend a bar or run cash registers, they don't always stay assigned to the door as they were meant to. If you have a way (with mods) to romance and make babies with other kinds of Role Sims, then this might be viable. The offspring won't really be Reapers though and probably won't look like it either.

Thanks.

What cheats could i use to add him to the family? And what would be the consequences?

Look for a user called onlyabidoang on YouTube. He has a video called The Sims 3: 10 Features You Might Not Know Exist! which includes an entry about adding a version of the Grim Reaper to your family without issues to your game. I can't remember what the timestamp is for that one, but it's only 12 and a half minutes long, so you won't have to wait long before you get to it.

That will put a sim who looks like the Grim Reaper into a household (and a new one will spawn to take his place elsewhere in the world). The playable one won't have any real powers or be a Service Sim, it will be a regular sim with an all black looking skin tone. I'm pretty sure that would be the same effect as using the store set Role Sim fake Reapers as mentioned above.

Note that the cheat way won't work if NRaas ErrorTrap is in play.

You're right. I didn't mean to imply that it was the real one with powers when I wrote "a version" of it. I thought that was enough, but maybe not. I apologize if there was any confusion or disappointment from what I said and what the video shows.
