Meteor in Egypt
I have a traveller sim and was on the last night of my first trip to Egypt when, suddenly at around 10pm, I got a notification that the sky had gone dark. I knew what was coming, so I quickly started getting my sim out of the way. I wish I'd thought to take a screenshot or video of it all since the foreign sims were reacting to it for the next couple of sim hours after that. I was hesitant to go back and grab the space rocks just in case anything was left and there, apparently, were some other small space rocks that fell, too. I was forced out of Egypt before I could go back for them, so I'm kinda hoping that they'll still be there by the time I can get back there.

Has anybody else heard or seen anything like this happening while in one of the foreign countries? This is the first time I've had this happen as far as I can remember and I've played several traveller sims over the years.

Oh, yes, they hit all venues in WA with all the attendant problems. I am not sure if your rocks will still be there as I have never had one hit so close to being teleported home. However, I had one hit a house I had built and for some reason, no matter what I did, I could not clean up the mess properly. Nothing to see, but my Sim had that "dirty surroundings" moodlet all the time. It did not go away between visits so I moved Sim to a new vacation home. My guess is, if the meteors are on your land they will still be there, if in a public area they will be cleaned up when you return.
