yo how do i get SimPoints?

i want to purchase Lucky Palms from the store using SimPoints. I don't know if i can earn SimPoints, or if there is no way of earning them. I know you can buy them, but i need to know if i can earn them. Please help me.

there's no way of earning sim points, you have to buy them
you should have some simpoints that you get for free by making an account but that's usually 200

You get 1000 simpoints for registering the base game and another 1000 simpoints for registering World Adventures. It may be possible to registure it once through the Sims 3 community page (account required) and then registering them again through an origin account. Don't quote me on that, as I haven't tried it yet. On the Sims Community page, like I said, you need an account, just go to your account settings and "add a game" and it will have a key code section to input your numbers from steam.

As far as buying Simpoint, I'm not sure that function works any more. You can do that through the store page on teh Sims 3 Community website. I don't remember the costs. But typical EA, they are expensive!

On a side note, there used to be sites that had the premium content and monthly content (which is no longer available throught the stroe page) for nothing. I'll let you search for those. But easily found through google. They usually require a patch and the framework for adding mods to the game.

Buying simponts (not exactly what the OP wants to do) must be done using Origin as a purchasing agent now. For those who do not have or want the Origin client, the Origin.com website would suffice.
