Help! Inventory Issue!
I cannot move any food or anything else out of my sims inventory. I have tried resetting the lot, reseting each sim, moving them out then back in, error trap isn't fixing it, nothing I've done has worked. I looked the issue up and only found the options I have already tried. I have Error Trap, Overwatch, MS Master Controler, MS Cheats, Portrait Panel and Desensor. I tried removing the most recent mod I added (portrait panel) and running the game. I even tried moving two sims out of the house to see if it was because I had too many in the house. But I only have 10 so it wasn't that either. I don't know what else to do.
I can have them eat the food, read the books and even put them away, but I cant click and drag anything out to the fridge or anywhere else. What sucks is that one sim just finished in the garden and there's a ton of food now stuck in his inventory. Like 24 eggs, 14 lettuce...etc, etc, etc! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

By the way, I just tried switcing households and their inventory is stuck as well. So basically I cannot move anything out of a sims inventory other than gifting to another sim and then it's stuck in their inventory. I've looked online twice and can onlly find what I've already done. If anyone knows something else please help!

DebugEnabler allows you to completely purge a Sim's inventory. But be careful if your Sim has career items (like the beeper for medical career) because those will get deleted, too. It's on the Options Smartphone menu.

MasterController will let you move items out of your Sim's inventory into some other container (like another Sim), so you might give that a shot before trying to purge since it's a bit less drastic. It's on the Object menu and called "Transfer To". I'd recommend doing it one item at a time. Once you find the offending item and get rid of it and see if you can put the rest back (use "Transfer From").

Thank you! I never have gotten though all the little things this wonderful mod can do and I wondereed about that one, but had not gotten around to playing with it. Good news, when I did use that and moved the food into another Sim, whatever I did must have opened everyone back up because I can move stuff again. I got the fridge full! LOL
It's a shame we can't make more items using all the fish and other foods sims collect. You get all those different fish, but for what reason? You can't fry up some shark or red herring...seems kind of useless to even fish, but some of my sims love to and it keeps them busy while I mess with the others. Anyway, Thanks again. It was a frustrating bug!

BTW: I screwed up once using the debug thingy and deleted my sims portfolio for his design career, what's funny was he still "showed it" to people, it just wasn't there. haha

I'm of like mind on the collectibles: just way too many for way too little practical use. You can put the fish and whatnot around your house as decorations and there is a LTW for collecting them. But aside from those uses, I typically just sell them. For example a Gardener Sim is happy to collect seeds, especially the "Unknown Special" ones, but for the rest, it doesn't take too long to get to the point of "meh! I already have that in my garden and it's better quality than this. cha-ching!" or "Oh, look! Another lump of iron. Should I stick it with the other 25 lumps or ...? cha-ching!" "What a cute ladybug! cha-ching!"
