The Sims™ 3

Help again please!
So I've been doing pretty well on my on lately, but I'm having a problem again and my Nraas mods don't seem to be able to fix them.
One: For some reason my adult sims keep changing into "career" clothing when they get out of the shower. The first few times I just changed them, then I got irritated (mainly because the AI picks out some weird $h*t) so then I delted the career outfits with my MC Cheats. But a few bath-times later and it put new career outfits in for them and neither of these two adult sims even have jobs. Both are registered self-employed, one is a writer and the other the member of a band. (Fortunately one of them changes into a tux, which is better than the ludicrous outfit the other ends up in.) Yes I've tried resetSim both manually and through MC CHeats

The second problem isn't a big deal but just odd. Does anyone else have your sims keep getting an option "enthuse about wedding" when there doesn't seem to be anyone getting married that my sims are aware of...at least in our inner-circle of friends. They do it autonomously as well. I'm like..."what wedding!?" Of course it would take forever to find just that one couple in Bridgeport who is engaged that my sims remotely know...anyone know how to stop this or at least an easy way to find out who is the engaged couple? If it's just a glich okay, whatever, but it does seem to happen on several of my 5 saved games/towns.

for the first one, does this sim have the trait "formal" or "proper"? i forget the name, but it gives conversation options such as "discuss etiquitte." if so, this sim will decide to "formalize" often, switching to their formal clothing set. my self employed writer with this trait tends to consider his tux his work clothes, and will chose to wear them more often than other outfits.

for the second, it does not matter if your sim even knows the sims who got married. you always have the option to congragulate them and to enthuse about the wedding.

It doesn't have anything to do with that since a sim without that trait that I've had the same problem with sims who don't have the Proper trait.

I don't know how to fix it either. I just do the work of trying to fix it each time. Annoying, I know. Have you tried the Dresser mod? That might fix it.

I don't have those trait options. They must come with a DLC I don't have. One of them is neat, but it's not the one with the tux. The tux just happens to be his "career" outfit from when he was an actor, its the tux with tails. You cant get that one in CAS. At least in my games.
The other one I have no idea, the outfit is bare chested with a stocking cap and rolled up pants to his knees and no shoes. LOL
Some of the career outfits have always been weird for my sims, There are a few that make sense, like the chef clothes, or the atheltes. But my teacher once kept going to work in pajamas as his career clothes, when he got promoted he went in some crazy outfit that didn't match and had no shoes. Then he got HighSchool teacher and he was bald with some insane outfit from the 90's or 80's. haha Then he was the Principle and finally had a regular suit and his own hairstyle.
Anyway, the two in quesiton still change into everyday stuff after other things like the hot tub, it's just when they get out of the shower or bathtub.

As for that last part, I never had the "enthuse about wedding" option before unless someone was getting married. But I got frustrated and I actually went through every sim they knew to see who was with whom, and finally found a teen couple that was engaged. That happens sometimes when I switch from house to house in a game. It seems it's the only time I get that glitch, because it never happens with the two towns where I stick to just one household.

My DLC's are Ambitions, Generations, Seasons, Late Night and Pets.

I don't know better or my sims will always change to work clothes when getting out of the shower/tub at the start of a working day. I have noticed it sometimes can be evaded by queueing up a nap on your bed before your sim enters the shower. That seems to make them put on everyday clothing instead.

Thanks, that's a good idea. But they are dirt defiant and usually only need to shower after a workout or sporting activity. Also they don't go to work anymore since they are both self-employed. Perhaps they just miss going to work every morning? haha

It's a silly thing, but when it happens so often it's bothersome. IDK why the dev's made so many stupid outfits.I also hate the stupid halloween outfits that the teens and kids (outside the active home) stay in for days! Or that you can be on a date or their visiting and they just up and leave to trick or treat...ugh!
Also, what I don't get is that, if they change for everything else, why do they not get out of their pajamas after getting up or out of their work clothes after work?
Some of the career outfits are okay, but some are completely silly to see sims in at the park or other venue. Stupid sims...it's easy to forget they are just a series of 1's and 0's and have absolutely no real AI. :steamfacepalm: But I get tired of constantly having to put them in the right outfits, it would be nice if more of that happened often by free will.
