Copying the entire ContentPatch folder from a former install or a formerly used TS3 game folder, if available, still works. So does bugging a (usually) friendly NRaas staff member by PM if you want and we can arrange something for those who are totally stuck without them. :)
So I've downloaded it somewhere but not sure if it's correct. There's 'Download' folder with contentpatch 0001 part to 0007 part in it, and a contentpatch dot package file. Even that, it doesn't work when I was hoping it'd fix bakery seller rug can't be placed next to a wall, can't drag the dish and sometimes dessert name spawned as serving plate. Not a big deal since mods and cheats can prob deal with those, but it's just feels incomplete and lack of effort from EA.
When I uninstalled steam version and installed origin again. The content patch folder becomes empty again, but I guess that doesn't matter now if they won't bother with it.
I have backuped the folder after downloading in hope of fixing bugs, but like I said it doesn't matter now since it won't fix the later contents after 2014 anyways.
