Pets Expansion-Disable Wild Horses?

I used to play this game with all the packs on my brothers pc. I started buying them for myself and I remember that in this expansion the horses would run all over town. I get pretty annoyed at that. Is there an option or a mod to disable wild horses and stop them from running around the city?

Yes.

First you have in the options a square to uncheck to disabled horses. But i think it will only stop the game from ADDING random horses in families households, it will not stop the wild life horses. But i am not shure of that, maybe you can try it if you don't whant to install mods.....!

If you whant to play in a peaceful world where no horses get stuck everywhere and running in the middle of traffic you should install "The Register" mod from nraas.

With it you will be able to control the wild life totally by choosing the exact number of sim for each categories. Horses, racoons, deers, cats, dogs.

The mod have also many other use like controling some details for the immigration, touristes, role sims, service sims. Or just choosing yourself who you whant for bartender, cashier etc...!

If you whant to erase the existing ones in families households (not wild life) you will need the "Master Controler" mod from nraas.
Clic on city hall/nraas/master controller/town/total annilation/animal and after select each one you whant to erase and confirm.
Note that all animals you will see there WITH NO FAMILY NAMES are not really in the world if you have select 0 for them in the register. They are just the default avalable sims that can be generate by the game in the bank. No way and no use to delete them, they are only portraits.

Personnally i always uncheck horses in the options and control wild life with the register because it's really annoying me to see running horses in Bridgeport and with the Island paradise expansion it's a real catastrophy...!
The game add randomly horses in families living on boats houses,...!!! So just imagine the consequences....! Stuck stuck stuck stuck.........and crash..!

I think you can use an nraas mod to do it. Click on the link cause someone else had a similar problem.
