No aliens in Twinbrook?

Aliens were visiting just fine in Moonlight Falls then I moved the family to Twinbrook when I got ambitions. The sim I want to get abducted has level 10 logic skill, has 10 space rocks and I even had him take time off work so he can spend all night using the telescope. Nothing. Any ideas?

Are the space rocks out in the yard? Which space rocks are you using? Do you have some large and some gigantic in the yard, too? I've had several aliens visit one of my sims in Twinbrook when he had several large and one or two gigantic space rocks in the yard. I think it's just luck of the draw.

The space rocks need to be in your inventory, I think. The base chance of abduction is pretty small (a percent or two - working from memory here) and are still capped, even adding in bonuses for things like space rocks and stargazing. It's a pretty large cap in the neighborhood of 2/3 or 3/4, but it's still a once-per-night chance. I don't know when that chance is actually rolled, though, so you'd want to just keep doing it until your number comes up.
