Sims 3 and Windows 10

I got a new computer some days ago and I downloaded Steam and TS3. I started via launcher as usual and then the screen went black and I heared Sims, but I couldn't see anything.. ergo; I couldn't play... anybody the same problem or any solution?

Try using Windowed mode to start up the first time.

1. Shut down Sims completely.
   
   
2. In your computer's Documents directory, open the Electronic Arts folder and, inside it, the The Sims 3 folder.
   
   
3. Locate the Options.ini file, and right-click it and choose "Edit".
   
   
4. Locate the line which reads: fullscreen = 1
   
   
5. Change that one to a zero.
   
   
6. Save the file, close it, and try starting your game.

If it works, you can then go into options and set things up properly for your card in there.
