Anyway, once in the game, then go to video/graphics settings and set your resolution ect.
I think your computer don't like the default video settings and you cant change them unless you get into the game. (or edit options.ini)
Another way to achieve this is open your options.ini and change the VALUE here from "1" to "0"
fullscreen = 1 <-- set that to "0" Zero (then game will launch in windowed mode)

Thanks but my problem is not with fullscreen, it's that my town overview doesn't load. Changing from fullscreen to windowed doesn't do anything. Once I zoom in (e.g. into a house) everything works fine. Also my graphics card isn't being recognized at all (DeviceConfig is empty)
