TSR Workshop is being weird for me importing in mods

this is very odd, i try to import something like the gun mod that i have that is called the (weapons system), and the link is http://modthesims.info/d/402950, and i am trying to import cmomoney's cigarette mod here is the link for that one too http://modthesims.info/d/480744, plus i tried putting in the cigarette mod in there twice!, and it won't preview the model, it says "is this a sims 4 package?" then i say no it does this weird thing, and it won't show the model on the screen and it just says "OBJECT", i doubt there is something wrong with it but i wanted the model to be previewed on screen, not full screen but to where i can see it, and i don't know what to do so i made this discussion to see if i can get a little more help on this "The Sims Resource Workshop", but i tried to make a car but that didn't work either because i wanted it to be like a corolla from the 1980's or 1990's, but that didn't really work out either so i want to learn it the easiest way, and i have no clue what to make, because i am so bored , anyways i hope we find out the problem what is going on and hopefully i am going to make a mod then be successful at making my own mod, but anyways hopefully you guys can help

Most support for the TSR Workshop is through TSR - I'd try asking them in their modding forums.

If the replies you've gotten here were not enough of a hint, then I will spell it out: We probably can't help you with TSR Workshop because it's from an entirely different site and not many people use it any more.

I haven't used it since at least The Sims 2, when it kind of went by another name (I think?) and had a different purpose. I can't at all figure it out "another way" for you. The Sims Resource made it, and have forums dedicated to it, so you're going to have the best luck there, with others who actually use it.
