Help! The serial code you entered is invalid

I was trying to register the serial code Steam provided for me. but when I key in the code it says, invalid. Can anyone help me? Thanks

OK, just to make sure, you're going to thesims3.com and logging in with your Origin account then navigating to My Page > My Account > Register a Game.

There, you were taking the key Steam provided and pasting it one group at a time into the boxes?

i installed 3 games in total. the base, two expansion packs. one of the serial code is invalid. The world adventures. I didnt key all in one group..

So you say "key", which means type, right? It's so easy to make a mistake that way (O for 0, I for 1 or L). Have you tried copy/paste?
