That said, you're missing out on the Katy Perry DLC, since you cannot buy it on Steam.
That may or may not be a bad thing. Kinda depends if you reeeeaaally like Katy Perry stuff.
The window that pops up deisplaying your registration key has a box that you can check to have it never pop up again. You can still get to your keys at a later time if you need. And as far as not logging in. . . .If you're talking about the game menu not logging in, that is a login for the sims 3 website, not steam. So, you need an account through that website to access the online stuff and to register your games/dlc (with the aforementioned keys). It's simple and easy! On a side note, the website login procedure is somewhat buggy. It uses cookies through Internet Explorer to log into the sims3 website. So, if you don't have IE or never use it, it won't always let you log in. This doesn't restrict you from playing the game or logging into the website from anywhere other than through the game.
I have both ..
Options are good .
