Fairy and human sim wont be together as bf and gf?

so i have a fairy and human sim and their r romantic interests together and stuff. but i want them to go further toooggethherrrr.
ive tried to get the option for one to ask the other to be their gf/bf but it still hasnt showed up :(
does forsakeing the fae have to do with this? does a fairy and human relationship not work???

Not at all, it has nothing to do with that. I am not sure what the issue is but in the game a human sim can do merriage, date, and even have kids with ANY of the supernatural races except Zombie. Forsaking their powers is not needed unless one of your sims is a "Supernatural Skeptic" which is a trait that you can give your sim that is the opposite of the trait "Supernatural Fan" if neither of them have the supernatural skeptic trait then the fact that one is a fairy has nothing to do with it. I am not sure though what the other issue is, are they both young adults or older or is one or both teenager? Teenagers can't get merried in the Sims 3 with out a mod to allow them to do so. Other then this I am not quite sure what else the issue can be other then maybe a glitch...

If one is married or already in another relationship, then those would have to be dissolved first - just adding to what the previous poster said.

I've married Hunter Cottoneye off to a fairy before, so if he can do it, any other human can do it too. Just keep up the romantic interactions until it comes up. They don't have to forsake the fae. Do what they said above. Also don't forget to check their star signs. In my experience you can still have a relationship; it will just take more work. I forget to check star signs sometimes in this game.

both of them are young adults, the dood has the althletic, friendly, handy, and flirty traits. theres one more i dont remember. the girl has artistic, friendly, clumsy, and coward traits. forgot the other again lol.
i do know that the human guy isnt supernatural skeptic.
He did however have another relationship with a lady so i used the murder mod thing to beat her down ;)
but anyway, i see. i guess its going to take alot of work to make this work lol

You dont need to murder them to make them leave the other person. I wanted to get in love with a girl that got engaged once. I got so much friend with her I asked her to move in with me as a friend (so I managed to gain controll of her) then made her break up with him.

30 points for compatible Zodiac sign,
5 points for Eye candy LTW,
15 ? Points for "Irresitable"
15 points for the Attractive LTW
1 point for each skill point.
Points for the number of simolians.
Points for compatible favorites - food, music and color
points for "gussy up" (mirror)
Negative points for incompatible traits.

There are xml tuning mods to adjust this.

Does that lady's status show up as ex-girlfriend/fiance/wife? It should. If it doesn't, then yeah, that's what might be causing the problem.

well im guessing it should, im not in the game rn but i broke up with her before i killed her.
