The Sims 3 cheat tab,

I can not open cheat tab. I have tried re-install sims 3 a few times but nothing works. I have tried re-start my computer few times... nothing. I have pressed [Ctrl]+[Shift]+C and sometimes [Ctrl]+[Shift]+[Windows Key]+C buttons a lot's but nothing appears on my screen. I have contact EA Game's/Origins Support and they said it's a bad thing to do to install The Sims 3 and 4 from Steam... Use the original disc. Because Valve do not have all files that follow The Sims game's.
And i believe why i can not use the cheat tab is because of VAC-Banned thing Valve warning us Steam users. Valve have ban this cheat tab function from The Sims game's.

I have a Steam install, and Ctrl+Shift+C works just fine.

Something I discovered about EA support - they often lie to you.

You're holding all three keys down at the same time, right? And from the game and not the launcher?

Yeah... you received bad information.

I use Steam Sims 3 and use the cheat console all the time.

BTW: Valve Anti-Cheat only applies to multiplayer online games, and Sims 3 is neither of those.

If it's not working for you, you might consider if you have some other program running that is taking over one or more of those keys. It is something on your end interfering, the problem is finding out what - it could be anything from an installed custom cursor to some live-support software installed on your computer.

Your computer should be fine. But be sure that some Lenovo support isn't hijacking control + shift + c... also, as I said above, is it possible you have installed a custom cursor of some sort?

It's not matter what you all saying to me. The Sims don't working anymore.
I'm so sad and hurt really bad.
I'm not allowed to play The sims game anymore.
I'm going to cry.
