Can I do this?

Ok, so if you don't know n the generations expansion pack you can have imanginary friends. And also, The imanginary friends can be turned real, but you need a rainbow gem. So I have a question. Is it possible to get a rainbow gem through cheats? If not, how do I obtain one?

they MIGHT be in the debug inventory or "collection assest" what ever... but can´t say for sure, i don´t have generations...

Rainbow gems are Rare gems, so you'd need a spawner that kicks out Rare gems. Go into the console (ctrl+shift+c), type in "testingcheatsenabled true" (no quotes), press enter, reopen the console, type in "buydebug on", go into Buy Mode in category view, click the big question mark, go to the gems and minerals tab, find the Rare spawner and place one (or two or three or four) on your home lot. The spawner will kick out a gem or mineral once per day and you'll get a Rainbow gem eventually.

If you have Ambitions and/or Supernatural installed, you can check at the consignment store or the elixir shop each day and one will show up eventually.

You can go rummaging in trashcans without any expansions (or go dumpster diving with University Life) and there is a chance that you'll pull out a Rainbow gem. It's a small chance, but there is one so one will turn up if you do it often enough.

Thank you, I looked up a tutorial on youtube for the buydebug and I use it a lot now. I didn't think you could get such valuable stuff from trash cans! Haha, but I don't have ambitions or supernatural but I've been looking into them.
