How do I cheat so I can get money?

All of my sims are poor, and I need to get them more money. I don't know how to cheat on the sims 3 (If it's even possible) and I need help...

Press Control-Shift-c to open the command box, and do testingcheatsenabled true, then afterwards do familyfunds [sims last name] [money wanted] most money possible is 9999999. This saves you from constantly entering the "motherlode" cheat several times.

especially if you have the expansion packs
science skill > cloning plasma bugs
just with money > buy miner from pawn shop > mine for materials > hopefully get tiberium (for big payout but you'll be making money anyway)
pawn shop occasionally has tiberium for a really low price
most skills at level 10 e.g sculpting
martial arts > breaking space rock for tiberium (after you have the thing which increases your chances)
a spire cut piece of tiberium grows over time till its worth 50k a pop
and plasma bugs go for about 4k but you can make them really easily

jobs are for suckers, hobbies and mining are the real moneymakers

Hesitant to necro a thread, but since it's only 10 days old, what the heck. Discovered this one this morning, it requires Seasons and you should probably not have the NRaas Tempest mod installed/running.

Rake up a few leaf piles, but do not dispose of them. Butlers and maids will spend all Autumn raking those piles, so you don't really have to do much other than hire them. The piles will generate squirrels and chipmunks. Catch them. Squirrels go for about $25 each and chipmunks go for about $125 each. Four or five piles generated close to $2K in critters and they should keep on producing. The Tempest mod will clear fallen leaves at the beginning of winter, so you'd have to wait for the next Autumn to repeat the process if it's installed.

nah that requires gardening and actual work, even better method than i said before is scan a rock of tiberium and clone, when you use gem cutting machine you get 1 piece of tiberium and two dust and the piece and the dust each grows into a large tiberium which grows and worth like 50k

in summary no work or upkeep just go science clone rock, cut rock wait small amount of time> 150k-ish

if you spend a day making tiberium god knows how much you could make

True, but that's the name of the gem in the game. Probably a nod in the direction of C&C. Don't keep it in your inventory or it will make your Sim sick.

It is radioactive in this too, but the 75K sell price makes it well worth it. There's also a bug I've ran in to that can make one peiece worth a solid 12.7 million if it matures far enough, but I only managed it once... If I ever find a way to re-create it, I'll share how

i usually get around 50k for mine, anyway 12 million ? jesus, im gonna leave leave some pieces of tiberium for a lot longer now
