Sound stops randomly in game
No one else has this? When I play, sometimes all sounds stop working, making the game mute.
I have tried to search for solutions online, but most of them are applied on the Sims 3 folder that are not from steam, so I don't know really how to fix this.

Anyone knows how to fix sound stoping problem for the Sims 3 on Steam?

I can tell you where to find the Steam Sims 3 folder, if that helps?

By default, it is found under:
C: > Program Files (x86) > Steam > SteamApps> common > The Sims 3

I have tried this before, but the problem is that the name of the files does not match with the non Steam version.

Anyways, I have found a solution for this problem, and is just change the Sound Settings from Stereo 2 to 4 or 5.1.
