Struggling to kill off a vampire (Supernatural)
Basically I have an elder guy I turned into a vampire, I want to kill him off now. I've had him locked in a room without food for at least three or four in-game days now but he just won't die. Do vampires just not die of hunger/thirst? I also tried drowning him but apparently I did the pool wrong because he just climbed out even with no ladders.

Hmm that's strange, I've never killed off a vampire but I think I have an idea how you could do it. I'm pretty sure that in the Sims 3 vampires are sensitive to sunlight. So if you maybe take him outside and put a fence around him that exposes him to sunlight but doesn't let him escape to the shade of your house (idk if regular walls would work because they might give him shade/not enough sunlight to effect him). But yeah I'm pretty sure vampires will burn up and die if left outside in the sun too long.

Alternate idea... If you can find a "cure" elixar (I think it's called something like that) it will cure him of his vampirism and then I thinnk you could successfully drown him in a pool or starve him to death.

Hope this helps! :)

LIttleMissLimos is correct on the "cure" elixir - it's called "Potent Cure" and it will remove any supernatural life states from whoever you toss it at. As for the rest, I've never tried to kill off a vampire. They are susceptible to sunlight, but I do not believe it is fatal. Instead, I think it causes their Thirst to deteriorate faster than normal. So locking your vampire in a fenced in area where they are exposed to sunlight (either don't put in a gate or lock the gate without giving them permission to open it) should cause them to die of thirst faster.
