How Make Time Slower?
The days are too quick/short and or my Sim takes too long to do things.

It took my sims 30 minutes to get and eat cereal. That's rather exaggerated.

Is there any way or mod that can amke days longer or make my sims not take so long to complete simple tasks?

without mods this is not possible, however you can make their lifespands longer. go into gameplay options to edit that

This is what Relativity was intended to address. It doesn't lengthen the day as much as it adjusts the amount of clock time that activities take to complete.

Awesome. I was about to refund the game for this reason. After I eat and use the bathroom half the day is gone. Were the devs dropped on their heads as children?

Surprisingly, it's better than Sims 2. I remember meal time would take 6 hours or so in that game if there was more than one Sim at the table since they'd talk instead of eat. Now I'm not saying that never happens in the real world, but every meal? Yeeeesh :-)

I downloaded the mod. in the main menu it says relativity is installed, but how do I access it? I tried searching every menu..

I am grateful for these aspie kids who make these mods, but how fkin hard is it to right a basic tutorial explaining sht?

From the mod's FAQ, you need to use the Set Speed command on any of the in-game "clocks, computers and the City Hall". The normal game speed is 37; setting it lower will make things take longer, and setting it higher will speed them up.

Thank you. I found it. I guess I should ahve foudn the FAQ.. That site is not very user friendly at all. It is made in a way that the person who made it would know where sht is, but anyone else would have to dig around. It reminds me of my gf. I have to magically know everything she is thinking, or I won't understand her vagueness. Maybe she would understand this site. I am not on the same wavelength as most people. Life is jsut one big inside joke and I am not part of it.. ffs..

I remember sims 1 and 2. They annoyed me too with their unrealistic time. I never tried 3 till now, or 4 for that matter.

I used to play these games with my cousin. Me and her would build houses and families. I always loved building and designing the house. She liked the personal stuff more. It is interesting that the things we liked we ended up focusing on in real life. She is a counselor. I am a computer tech who enjoys building and repairing stuff(yeah, ironic, right? I can't even figure out where to access relitivity FAQ :D)
