Primarily you need this one:
http://nraas.wikispaces.com/MasterController
Including the integration option. This will basicaly uncap your household limit.
It'll break the portrait panel if you have more than 8 sims though, to fix that you'll need this:
http://nraas.wikispaces.com/PortraitPanel
This will let you cycle through more sims than normally could be displayed in the panel.
And if a non-active household has more than eight members, the EA StoryProgression is going to break, so you'll have to replace it with this:
http://nraas.wikispaces.com/StoryProgression
The maximum number of sims that NRAAS Story Progression will track in a non-active lot is set under the Maximum Size: Human option under Lot Options. It's set at 8 by default and you can change it to whatever you want. There's also Maximum Size: Pet which defaults to 6.
Automous Woohooing is also broken if you have more than 8 sims, to fix that you need to toggle some options in this mod
http://nraas.wikispaces.com/Woohooer
And finally, if you travel to another game world when your household is more than 8 sims..... bad things can happen. Data could be lost, relationships could be blanked, perhaps even losing sims in transit. To fix that, you require this:
http://nraas.wikispaces.com/Traveler
With all those mods you should be able to have larger households. But it'll be very laggy and chaotic if you still go too big.
As an aside, you're going to have more glitches if you do this, so this mod is absolutely essential.
http://nraas.wikispaces.com/ErrorTrap
That will catch most problems and prevent them from destroying your game allowing you to keep on playing without interruption.
And this one can help things run better with less lag and waste
http://nraas.wikispaces.com/Overwatch
That will clean up some nonsense and inefficiencies that tend to slow down your game and inflate it with clutter.
