TS3 How to Change Outfit Categories: Swimwear to Everyday?

Searched the net like Neo looking for Morpheus, suggested mods don't work or is all round bs in one way or another, Simply asking if ANYBODY was or is able to change TS3 outfits so i can get sims to wear their Swimwear as Everyday. Help Please!

If you have a dresser then you could try that. Otherwise, you should have the ability to just click on the person you are playing with and the option to change clothes should be there. Or you could go to the map screen and edit the sim you want to change clothes for. If you wanted to change physical features then you would have had to cheat but you should be able to just change clothes legitimately.

Ty but It don't work that way, if i use dresser, I can plan or change outfit but when in there under "swimwear" I find a top. I want that swimwear top to be a "everyday" top, listed under "everyday"

The second option is to find a way to edit your sim's clothing in the CAS screen. I believe you can do that by going to your Settings menu at the bottom left corner and then selecting "Create/Edit Household." Then you go to Everyday Wear and change it to whatever you want your sim to be wearing as swimwear. Clothing is not tied to category so technically you can wear pyjamas to work and a uniform to bed if you want to...I think. Try it out.

Then use the "Copy clothes between categories" And select the outfit you want to copy and which category to send it to.

Alternately, I believe that you can use MasterController like so - click then NRaas > Master Controller > Settings > CAS > Disable Clothing Filter

That would make all clothing available in all categories.

Ty, i searched the first 4-5 items on google, tried almost everything though the MasterController is the only one that i didn't try... knows now thats likely my fix.. Thanks to all who steped up and helped out. Off to nab Master will update later.

btw alot of the google listed stuff is outdated i searched sims 3 got to much info from pages but was sims 2 old threads ect.. heads up on what or where u reading from.. simPE was something i read bout and started to look for then saw it was "Disappeared" from net.. turns out that was a sims 2 tool.. few other mods i've tried everthing but that masterctl so here goes..

Ty, I've installed MasterController ( im impressed) but can't find the "Copy clothes between categories" option. Could you please provide a directory path?

Ah i found it, listed under " Intermediate" 7th down the list. Now time of truth..

NOPE..... ugh really... all that's doing is making my everyday listed tab show up as 3 new project tabs so i now have everyday outfits x3.... easy to remove but lol its not working... ima have to go do more readin on how to make this option work, im close... cause "I think i can, i think i can"...

Copy clothing between Cats is not working. the Disable Clothing Filter

Removes the clothing category filter in CAS on a category by category basis ... failed and wont list any itmes in count so im xfering 0 to 0 ....

lol i seem to have solved it but not quite sure how only know this...... I did disable clothing filter, i used the in game dresser to get to CAS and thats where I failed each time... the right thing to do was to click on sim i want to edit, NRaas - Master Controler - Advanced - Edit in CAS...

SOLVED!!! now im tickled!! got things as I wanted em but now have Master Controller and its sweet, Detailed with tons of options.. Thank You All !!
