A third option requires an NRaas mod, but I don't remember which one since I use several. It's probably the Traveler mod (which you should be using anyway if you're in one of the World Adventures neighborhoods - it prevents problems when transitioning back to the home neighborhood), but might be MasterController or DebugEnabler. Anyway, one of those three has an option to immediately force the world's spawners to do their thing. So if you have the mod installed, save the game, force the spawners and collect your stuff. If the required number of pieces don't show up, load the save and try again.
(Edit: oh, and the speed of an answer does depend on who happens to be online and looking at the forum. I'm home battling the flu today, so was able to look in, but responses can sometimes take a few hours before someone who knows an answer checks in.)
