Add\import custom music/playlist to the game - is it possible?

Hey there. I was wondering if anyone who bought the game knows if adding mp3's, generally a custom playlist of your own is possible( like the mp3's in any GTA game, for example)? In several pc reviews I've seen people saying it's possible for all ports, others saying that only for the ps3 version.

I know I can always load a playlist in the background, with winamp or whatever, but that tends to get decentralized from the game and it's not the same.

I can't find a way to do this either. I think the directory is: \Steam\steamapps\common\need for speed hot pursuit\UI\SONGS

But from there, simply adding your own music to the directory doesn't work.

im assuming you are talking about the original nfs games (1994-2002)
