Just Realized This Game Is Gone

I BOUGHT this game with money and they took it away without refund or a word. Only to force people to spend MORE money on a worse game. People didn't like the new one and EA did what they could, which was a low blow to take people's money and forcing people to spend more for something they didn't want to spend more on when they shouldn't have to. SOOOO MAD. THIS iS PatHeTIC!

I'm happy that I made a complete safety copy, if it should happen for me aswell.

And yeah, its incredible pathetic and shallow minded if they can't accept the original to be better to just remove it out of peoples libraries.

What do you mean it's gone? It is no longer purchasable, yes, but i still can play it from my library.

It's not in my library anymore. I think after I reinstalled steam it went away. And I can't get it on the store so I can't access it. I am forced to buy a new game to play the one I bought and I am upset. It is really shallow to take my money for themselves and not offer a product. I asked steam for a reimbursement. It's their right to take it away, but it's not okay to do that to others. Kinda wish I was able to buy physical disk PC games again and make it harder to take away the right to use their product. We don't own any games, they just let us use their stuff, but it should still be pretty much ours to do what we want with.

They realized that when you leave the original buyable like with the burnout paradise "remaster" that most realize that nothing improved and won't buy the remaster and even boycott it, simply because its a cashgrab.

So they decided to maximize the revenue and force the people to buy the remaster, because otherwise the people would be to intelligent to buy their ♥♥♥♥.

Steam doesn't remove games from libraries that has been taken out off the store.

it has been removed from my library. I go to the store and its unavailable and really hard to find. ans its not in my library so I can't reinstall it. once I wiped my computer clean and re-downloaded steam I think that's when it was lost.

Are you sure is not in your hidden games by mistake? View>>> Hidden games.
Like I said, Steam doesn't delete games that have been retired. I have plenty of retired games in my library, including this one.

Like I said, Steam doesn't delete games that have been retired. I have plenty of retired games in my library, including this one.

I looked at the view and hidden gams. There are no gams in there. I've looked for it in my library three times. It's not there. is there any way to see my purchase history or anywhere else it would be? If they don't delete them then I'm wondering where it is.

Did you go to the store page? Like at the top of this page on the top right which takes you to the OG NFS:HP. An when there does it say In library in a green bar above a giant review text box? If it doesn't say that then its not accounted for. IF you have the recipient or proof you bought it you need to contact Steam to see whats going on in your account. Games like Alan Wake you cant buy anymore but since I bought it before the take down its always on my account to redownload anytime.

This may or may not be helpful depending on what you've done.

Just found my purchase history and it's not there so idk. I remember playing a nfs gam on my laptop and deciding to buy one for about 15 instead of another one. I looked on origin for it, since i thought maybe it was on that. But it isn't in those gams either
