Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit

Most Wanted vs Hot Pursuit - Criterion remakes
I wish MW was on Steam...

Which one do you think is better?

For me the camera of HP is sorta better, same for the handling. You crash way too much in MW and that I don't really like, yet MW is much more fun. The multiplayer, like Burnout Paradise, is amazing in MW. Very fun and accesible.

HP's handling is, I think, consistent. You just need to drive around a car for a bit for practice, but you have a slight feel of how it's gonna go. In MW it's pretty wacky, it's more like you need timing skills (braking, retarding, turning etc) than knowledge of your ride. At least that's what I observed from playing with a controller (on a console). I played HP with a keyboard so this whole thing could just be me - mind you. But it still feels like something else in comparison. Maybe it's just that MW is supposed to be more arcade.

MW has some weird world design too. Often you crash for a bump in the wall that's hard to even see, very annoying. And things can sometimes go totally out of control. It doesn't feel right. Sometimes I feel a bit limited playing MW. Never felt that in HP. Just my two cents.

Both of them are absolute crap games to play, two of the WORST Reboots and or remakes of original NFS license titles EVER...!

Bravo Criterion games, well played...

I don't know, the MW '12 builds say really otherwise, and have you halfwits flip your opinion on Criterion. I'm actually happy it didn't have unbearable characters and a dog s.h.i.t story. And in what world was Hot Pursuit bad? Burnout 3 can throw any NFS game effortlessly out the window.

Oops, Ghost recycling Criterion's assets... Take any Criterion game and you've beaten Ghost. Except Burnout Crash. The netcode in Rivals is a bad joke, for example. On the other hand the excellent MP of Paradise and Most Wanted. Rivals and HP are way too similar, yet the latter is miles better. EA f.u.c.k.s you and you take it.

And for some reason I always see very positive reviews for the Most Wanted remake. Take your butthurt somewhere else.

PS. Obscure Gamers NFS Most Wanted on YT. Help yourself.
