Stuck in Connecting to Autolog

I've searched, and searched for Autolog issues, and everything I'm finding is back in 2015. Aparently it's working because other users are here in Steam able to get online and play. However, I cannot seem to get passed the initial "Connecting to Autolog servers..." screen. I can disconnect from my network, and get to the main menu, and possibly play single player (I didn't test). I can reconnect to my network while the game is running, and then try to connect, but it'll just go back to that screen. Game doesn't crash, I just have to Alt+F4 out of it. If I open up Task Manager while the game is "connecting", there is NO network activity. Firewall isn't blocking it, I've already checked that.

i have the EXACT same issue. ♥♥♥♥ EA, ♥♥♥♥ this game , no solution available online to fix this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ problem!

I have this too, but it worked fine yesterday. Even stranger, my mate can get on the game fine! Any ideas?

Nope, it pissed me off enough I got a refund. But would be nice to have a solution for people having this issue in the future.

Just bought the game couple days ago. Had same issue with autolog and ea servers.

So what i have done is:
1) Went on EA website (https://myaccount.ea.com) registered my account used Steam NFS HP cdkey to redeam a game on EA website.

2) Then went back to the game and just loged in with my EA account and BOOM.

Problem is not with your PC or the game problem is that you used Steam instead of Origin and that gives you the EA servers problem. So you have more manual work to do. But its simple anyways.

However just cheked this autolog feature and its kinda dead, no pleayers, lobby is empty you need friends to play this game. Game is already old and abandoned. So you actualy dont gain much from loging into autolog unless you have a friend with same game and want to compete with each other.

Would have been nice to find the answer elsewhere. Thank you for that Kung Lao. I figured the game was dead lobby wise, but I do have friends that play this game still, but I couldn't even load the game unless I disconnected from the Internet.

Again, thank you for the information, and I'm sure it'll help others in the future.
