Why aren't missions unlocking?

What am I missing here? I started the game and am getting gold medals on all the career races. The next race in the list doesn't unlock. I can't find ANY one else having this problem online.

For example, in Eagle Crest I have a gold medal on First Offense, and a gold medal on Sports Car Named Desire. Why isn't The Ultimate Roadcar unlocked?! This game's UI is doing a horrible job of letting me know WTF unlocks missions.

for me i reached the max amount of points you can earn in this game so no mew omes come up

Good for you. Still doesn't explain why I can't unlock any missions. The next one in the list is supposed to unlock if you get at least bronze on the one above it. This is not happening, and nothing tells me how to unlock the missions. They just have a lock icon and don't respond to input. Really poor UX.

Example: Why is "The Prestige" locked? Where does it tell me how to unlock it?

There could be a number of things. You could be missing a special car needed for it or you haven't reached a high enough level. Playing older challenges again can raise your level which could unlock certain things.

That makes sense. I just wish the information was presented on the UI. Still searching for a FAQ or Guide that has unlock criteria :/

yea its wierd, just gotta keep playing the other missions of different regions to unlock the rest.
