Rivals has a better map and being able to slightly modify racer cars is awesome.
This game IMO doesn't have as much replayability because once you've beaten the game, what more can you do? You can improve your times but you can only do that for so long before you get bored. Freedrive is there, but once you've tried Freedrive, you'll realize how boring it really is and how superior the Rivals free-roam system is. You CAN play online, if you have friends. If you're not into online gaming, well tough luck, once you've finished thats kinda it for you. I've never played online but as far as I'm aware you're either Racing or Chasing, its most definitely not like Rivals where you can get a friend together to casually cruise around chasing racers or running from cops.
