NFS:Hot Pursuit Lag Problem.
For some reason, NFS: Hot Pursuit is running really slow on my pc, usually running at around 15-20 fps. I checked on Game Debate if my game would run, and it said high. I tried lowering my resolution. And that didn't do anything.

My Specs are:
CPU: AMD A10 6700 Quad Core
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 8670D
RAM: 16GB
OS: Windows 8.1 64bit

Is there anyway to fix this lag issue?

what i have done and for some reasons it works wait till the opening video runs then start to play , this takes a few minutes . had same trouble with another game and it worked also with that game. my PC is old so maybe it needs time to "warmup" .

Stuttering or flat out lag the whole time?

I know the fix if you are stuttering.

1. Open task manager
2. Launch the game
3. On task manager, click on details and find "NFS11.exe" and right click
4. Click "set affinity"
5. Check everything except for CPU 0.

It should look like this: (replace X with a tick)

( ) CPU 0
(X) CPU 1
(X) CPU 2
(X) CPU 3

Well, at least for me because I only have 4 cores. I don't know about you. Whatever you do, uncheck cpu 0. However, you have to do this every time the game launches since it doesn't save your settings

If it's still lagging i don't know the problem. Sorry

Try to check if your drivers are updated and if you set the graphics to your discrete one instead of your GPU. Btw add me, Im BlitzkriegPH in game, so we can play online :)

I disabled CPU 0 but it made no difference.
Mind you, I always get around 60fps so the video perf isn't the issue. For me it's the keyboard lag.
I'm going to try another keyboard and report back.

Thank you for that, I disabled cpu 0 and now it runs at a solid 30fps at max settings instead of 19-20fps

wait
30fps?

It's improved now, after disabling CPU0, contrary to what I said earlier.
Solid 60 fps, very slight keyboard lag, which could be down to the kbd anyway.
GX Manticore but next month I'm buying a higher quality mechanical one.
