Good game but putting previously free items behind a paid shop and dlc is the definition of scummy

Ubislop greedily took out content you could get playing the game and put it behind real money transactions. I'm never buying anything from this company again

THE GOOD:

- 25th anniversary update added a new mission and re-added the fan favourite predator mission.
- you get all gun attachements immediately which is nice
- they added options similar to breakpoints "ghost experience", HUD settings and


THE BAD:

- you can no longer earn the blue premium store credits to buy any of the remaining locked premium stuff because Daily/Weekly challenges have been entirely removed. "You can earn most of the content in the game through play." doesnt apply anymore because of how much previously unlockable through game preogression has been paywalled

- all three types of loot crates have been removed. the menu for them is still there but YOU CANT CLAIM ANY CRATES YOU ALREADY OWN, EVEN THE ONE YOU GET FOR FREE WHICH IS INSANELY FUNNY

- basically they removed the entire endgame gameplay loop and put the rewards you could previously earn from gameplay into the cash shop instead.

- if you want the whole game you have to buy the newly added "definitive edition upgrade" time to pay up!


THE TECHNICAL BAD:
- the game is packed with a old version of EasyAntiCheat which made my system very instable. Last time i had this issue was with Elden Rings version of EAC. This results into crashes to desktop up to OS freezing up completely.

- YOU CANNOT RUN THE GAME if your CPU has more than 8 cores, efficiency cores/hyperthreading. You need to disable efficiency cores or disable hyperthreading in your BIOS/UEFI to make the game boot up!

- loading in the game or after getting killed takes up to five minutes. I have had the game on a freshly bought SSD.

if you want to play the game normally you have to sail the seven seas :)
