By the way, is Akane a member of Free The Soul? In ZTD it is said that she and her brother are the leaders of the organization fighting Free The Soul. In VLR it is said that Brother sent Dio to ruin Akane’s AB project. They seem to be enemies, but are they?
In ZTD Akane takes robe in the end of Decision Game and, as we see in the end of VLR, she really wears it. And did Brother actually wanted to ruin AB project? Well, if AB project fails Sigma never shifts back to the facility in Nevada Desert and never gets stuck there with Diana and Delta is never born… I guess Brother dreadfully needs AB project to succeed and he actually wanted his agent to play his role in Akane’s plan.
Also both Akane and Brother wanted to create the same timeline (the true ending of ZTD). Were they working together? Was Akane a secret member of Free The Soul?
And if she was, when she stared to be?
It's also possible that it's related to the previous nonary games (held by Lord Gordain in the early-20th century) - in which the losers would supposedly be dressed in Free the Soul robes as part of a ritual in the chapel, and then burned to death in the incinerator of the Gigantic. However, this idea loses credence due to the fact that the second nonary game (held in 2027) took place in Building Q - and so there shouldn't have been any robes leftover there.
As for the stuff about Akane becoming a member of Free the Soul: I believe that she was persuaded at the ceremony in April 2029. They were therefore working together on the AB project, but they couldn't exactly tell the players that they were aiding the plan of the very cult which caused the Radical-6 outbreak in the first place! Incidentally, however, I'm not entirely convinced that the decision game was the first time Delta had seen her in person (albeit, unbeknownst to Akane). In the Director's Office's secret files in VLR, there's a reference to another person in Tenmyouji's photo of young Akane, "watching over her to ensure that she's on track to fulfil her purpose", or words to that effect. That's likely Delta.
That makes sense! They just exchanged their closes in order to decieve Hongou, without any special meaning. I wonder how much did Akane and Aoi know about Free the Soul that time? It is secret organization of course but they managed to occupy somehow buildig Q (previously owned my a member of Free the Soul). Did they know it?
Yes, that's likeky. He must have been watching Akane before he took her to Decision Game. He needed to learn a lot about her to figure out in advance her role in the future events.
