Can someone explain what the flowchart locked unlocked icons means, I'm going crazy here
for the love of god do not go on a philosophical tangent about the game lore and what path to take.

this is for the first game

there are three icons. lock, round key, square key. they come in two colors, white and red.

what the actual f is this piece of c means

if you can't explaining (which I can understand because look at this sh) at least tell me if I can jump to the second game and look online what happens in the first and be done with it.

thanks

There's really no nice way to say this, so I'm just going to say it: you should just refund the entire series.

I'm trying not to judge, though to be honest you're not making that easy because your tone and word choice makes you sound petulant. Understandable, given you're presumably agitated. But, something something flies and honey...

Just, do yourself a favor. Refund the franchise. It only gets worse from here, and NO, you can't skip to the second one. The plots connect and persist between games in ways you will not understand if you skip them or shortcut your way via guides.

Zero Escape isn't your jam, and that's okay. Not everything is for everyone.

Keys represent important information that the main character could obtain if you make the right choices (not just going down that branch of the flow chart, but also decisions within that branch). Locks represent challenging situations that might end badly if the main character does not have the right information. The color of the key matches the color of the lock you are supposed to use it on. You don't need to worry about what the difference in shape means.

this is just wrong, there are no locks to use keys on, so I will add the answer here for sane people that will try to play the game in the future.

you look at top of flowchart (like an upside down tree)

you start with the top most red or blocked key you can find, replay the scene, chose something else when the select answer pop up show up.

you then move down in the flowchart paying attention that up there are no locked red icons slowly unlocking paths.

and

you are not stupid or you don't know haw to play. the game forces you into doomed paths by design. you can't take the best choices and get the true ending without unlocking the bad endings.

done. rest move along

When you said you were going crazy, I didn't realize you meant that you had lost all ability to remember what you've written. Usually people use that phrase figuratively.

You said you had lock icons, so you got told what to do after the lock icons are already there. Don't blame other people because you are to dumb to ask what you actually meant.

Getting the bad icons is how you get the game to tell you what to do, but if you happen to make the right choices beforehand the game will accept it. In theory you only need one bad end (because that end comes with a key) to reach the true ending.
