Also, yeah. It was very jarring to play this version of the game where there is voice, tbh. I believe the iOS version also had him being little sound effects (like the rest of the cast) - like the DS release. I'd love a patch, but I doubt it'll come.
I was able to extract the game bin data (ze1_data.bin) using the QuickBMS tool and have access to every game asset. The audio files were all named and sorted randomly. If I want to remove Junpei's voice, I will have to listen to every voice file one by one, replace only Junpei with "silent" audio files, then reimport them into the bin file. I only plan to replace the Japanese files, but it's still quite a lot.
I wonder if there is a way to "detect" only Junpei and then replace them automatically. If anyone knows, please help.
