About Clover's face
So what's the deal with the three white points and the pink cross under Clover's right eye ? Are they temporary tattoos ? real tattoos ? customizable piercings ? Face paint ? No one in the cast ever question her about that lol but not knowing what it is is bothering me so much I can't focus when she speaks lol

I've always assumed the dots were freckles since none of the other characters brought it up but they appear to be absent from both her young design [lparchive.org] and her VLR design [vignette.wikia.nocookie.net] so I guess they're just temporary tattoos? The cross thing is probably a tattoo as well.
