Danganronpa is a totally different genre if you ask me. The fact that it has VN elements and dialogue is irrelevant. It is more in tune with Ace Attorney than 999 or VLR.
As a matter of fact, they are separate experiences. Yes, the price is worth it no question about that.
took me waaaay longer to finish VLR than either of the danganronpas
999/VLR are much more streamlined visual novels with adventure puzzle sections between scenes. Both of these were about 30 hours on 3DS for me, since I went for all endings in both. That may make 999 shorter in this version because you have the flowchart now.
