Rust Lords: Appliance Uprising is now live as Coming Soon on Steam! The store page just went public and the release date is locked in for 7 August 2026.

If you're new to the game — Rust Lords is a 2D belt-scrolling beat-em-up about kitchen appliances that wake up angry and decide the wasteland belongs to them. Four playable heroes (TOAST-R, Steamwire, Chillcase, Sweepjack), themed boss appliances including Chef Kilowatt the rogue induction stove, comic-book impact effects (POW, WHAM, BZZZT, OVERHEAT and more), and no in-app purchases or DLC — just a straight-up single-player brawler for $3.99 USD.

• 21 July: earliest possible release per Steam's 2-week Coming Soon rule

• 7 August: chosen launch date (extra buffer for wishlist momentum and last-mile polish)

• Between now and then: weekly dev updates here on characters, stages, and behind-the-scenes tech from the Godot 4.4 build
