Human Unity game crash

A crash report is stopping me from launching the game. Instead it says; "
Human has encounted an error and must close. A crash report named Crash_2018-12-13162232 has been generated. these files can be sent to NoBrakesGames for analysis. Would you like to open this folder?"
If you go into the error log it just says'"UnityPlayer.dll caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)
in module UnityPlayer.dll at 0023:59a8d7b4."
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, different propertiy setting and updating drivers to no avail.

I have exactly the same problem. A bit disheartening to see nobody's answered you in a couple of days :(

Figured it out (in my case). If you have Citrix Workplace or other installed, then that's your problem. Uninstall and it should work again. Good luck

THAT WAS IT! It worked for me, I can't believe that citrix (remote desktop application for college) was the problem. Thankyou!

OMG, I've been fighting with this for so long. Analyzing crash dumps, and such. I noticed right away when uninstalling Citrix client that I heard the telltale device disconnected sound. Must be a sudo audio device. I need Citrix client, so I'll see if I can get both running together, now knowing there is a conflict. This is something Unity needs to know about.

A fix looks to be in the works.

Current version with buildID: 3536230 has issues.

I switched to the beta, BuildID: 2419815, and this version runs fine with Citrix Workspaces App installed.

Same issue for me over 1 year later...
Uninstalling Citrix Workspace worked for me.

I also have this problem but can't uninstall Citrix Workspace since I need it for work...
Is there a workaround to make it work without uninstalling Citrix?

you are kidding me its CIRTIX WORKSPACE! i am working form home and this game now crashing ... no idea why and its THIS!

I used to get around this by running a beta version of HFF. But this doesn't seem to be an option anymore. However, I also have no issue with it crashing and do have Citrix installed for work also. I think you should try updating your Citrix client, and perhaps that will work. I am on version 20.6.0.38 and have no issues.

Not sure what Citrix Workplace is but I don't have it yet I have this problem. 6 months later. This game really went downhill

Thanks a lot!!!! Finally solved after uninstalling citrix...I have tried for hours to figure out what happened and it felt sooooo bad.

Don't know if you figured it out but go to device manager>System Devices and disable Citrix Virtual Bus Enumerator. Re-enable when you're done playing so you can use Citrix again.
