Stuck floating in the air when i load in a map[Solved]

On my screen, everytime my friend and I try first load a map his and my characters are stuck floating in the air. I can move my camara around no problem just cant move my character. On his screen, we are both on the ground moving around. He is also host by the way. I loaded into the christmas lobby with no problems and we spent a while messing around in that. He cant join me either. He gets stuck on a loading screen.

I re-installed the game and it worked.

I have the same issue as well, it works in the lobby but whenever we load a map her character gets stuck mid air or stuck in the ground. Did you guys find a solution?

Solved the issue! I re-installed the game and it worked for me.

Reinstalling worked for me too. Macbook pro 15", mid 2014

This problem is still persisting, me and a group of three friends have owned the game little over two weeks, when we first played it ran perfectly we were all able to play with eachother just fine but every time -Since- the first day of playing we have had problems. These are the possibilities of what can happen.
1) 1 player stuck on "Connecting to server" screen when accepting steam invite
2) All 3 players get into Christmas lobby, on loading an actual level 2 out of 3 players will be stuck floating in the air
3) All 3 players load into level, but one player see's themselves as alone, and nobody else is in the level with them despite the fact that they can be picked up and moved by the other players who are invisible on their screen
4) 2 players are in a level E.G power plant, but one player see's themselves still in the lobby floating over nothingness.

Been trying to play the last few levels of this game over the last few days, and two of our PC's are in the same room, these are all the problems we have come across while trying to join a friends session. Haven't tried reinstalling, more made this to bring these problems to the Dev's attention.

The solution is to start the game as host *without* your friends, then have your friends join when the game has already started.
