split screen issue
I'm trying to play split screen with two controllers for PC. Each controller just controls the same character, and there is no option that pops up in the lower right. When I unplug the second controller and restart the PC, I can play with the controller and a keyboard in split screen mode, but that's not what I want. This game needs more granular control than autodetect, because it's quite clear that PC users have unique situations. The game should just show me all input devices it thinks I have, and let me pick which ones I want to use for who. The autodetect is garbage.

Please try this:
- Have a controller inserted before going past the 'Press A to Start' screen (You can add the second controller later).
- To play 2 player local CO-OP you then have to press and hold the [MENU] button on this controller until joined.
- Once joined select PLAY > LOCAL > CONTINUE or SELECT LEVEL using the keyboard & mouse (Do not use the controller to start the level!).
- On loading into the level your view will automatically switch to SPLIT SCREEN and you'll be able to use both the keyboard & mouse and the controller to control your separate Bobs.

no, pressing a doesn't do anything, I know how to use google. Pressing any other button doesn't do anything either.

As you can see you have 4 steps there, when a simple menu that has all of the controllers shown, where you can enable and disable any one you want, rather than having the stupid game detect the wrong "controllers" for you, one of which is a keyboard, is pointless.

The devs just need to add a screen where you can select which controllers you want, and for which screen. It's nowhere near as hard as creating a whole 3d game to do this.

If they're having trouble with this, they can hire someone from a company like keysticks.net to do this for them. It really isn't that hard to do, I promise. The devs just don't want to for some reason.

I never said anything about Googling or so. Also the developers are a small team that is currently also working on Human Fall Flat 2.

Regarding the buttons not doing anything, it is then probably caused by Steam Input not being enabled.

1. Right click on the game.
2. Select Properties.
3. Click on the Controller tab.
4. And then enable Steam Input in the menu.
