xbox controller bug

My own experience and I have read comments from others make it quite clear to me that xbox controllers don't work with this game.

It won't consistently grab and hold items, Therefore climb doesn't work properly.

If it isn't already, this should be made unmissable clear!

I am having the same problem with an xbox controller

My Xbox is connected but i can't use it for this game

My controller is working in all GAMES but some how left and right triggers are not working in this game.

only got left trigger problem, char grabs own body unable to reach with left hand.
tried changing outfit , head gear but does the same thing

I have no issues with playing the game on a controller.
You can try to disconnect your controller from your PC, uninstall it via the "Device Manager" and then connect it back to the PC.

1. Select the View menu and turn on Show Hidden Devices .

2. Expand the node that represents the type of device that you want to uninstall, right-click
the device entry for the device you want to uninstall, and select Uninstall.

3. On the Confirm Device Removal dialog box, if you wish to remove the driver package in addition to uninstalling the device, select the Delete the driver software for this device option. When ready to complete the operation, select OK.

this is still an issue somehow btw, i tried today and it's broken
