Will it fry?
I am doing a second run to try and get all the achievments, the one to connect an appliance to 3 batteries won't work.

Screenshow shows the generator with 3 batteries with a green light to show it's powered.

I connected the same setup to a door with nothing different happening.

Is it bugged or is there a specific appliance that you need to connect 3 to?

It's about feeding too big voltage to devices that require power (not a charger). Tip. Polarity of batteries matter, you need 3x voltage fed to the appliance.

I plugged 3 batteries on a door it didn't work either

The wires are all in the correct colors, I plugged the 3 batteries into that charger in order to show the light turns on and it's all wired up correctly, I plugged the same setup with 3 batteries into a door outlet and it powered up and let me operate the door, but no achievment was given.

Here is a screenshot with all the color ports in view, all connected, 3 batteries in a door port, The only "appliances" are the charger and the door switches so I'm unaware of what I could be doing wrong.

I also tried getting the charger wired up to the petrol generator to see if i needed to repeatedly recharge the charger and "fully" charge all the batteries.

You connected it wrong. Think of it as serial connection between the batteries.

No sure what you mean by serial connection, I'm assuming it means "not" positive + negative, I swapped the wires around so blue went into red and vice versa, it worked like normal.

Could you tell me what you mean with this format?

Right now the wires leading from Appliance to batteries is in this order, starting with the appliance first.

RB - BR - RB - BR

Which is just in line with the + / - colors on the batteries.

I got it, I used the 2 extra batteries as "extentions" of the same color wire, which both connected to the R + B sockets of the middle battery, I geuss that's what "serial connection" means, Many thanks.

I'll add this here incase anyone else has the same trouble understanding as me, such as Calyptos above.

You need a power supply on the wall that has a voltage meter.

By my understanding those horizontal sliding doors "turn off" in a sense because they stay open and are unresponsive after that, as Matt said, the vault meter doors are what's needed.

Does someone know why this does not work (Why I don't get the achievement, I mean). I think it is exactly the same as one of the screenshots in here. It's a vault meter door also...
Thanks for the help!

Absolutely no idea sadly you are right, it's identical to the screenshots.
My only rough geuss might be perhaps you are using the "dead" battery? the one you need to recharge using the big yellow charger, but that said charger is in the room with you I see so that is unlikely.
