The wires are all in the correct colors, I plugged the 3 batteries into that charger in order to show the light turns on and it's all wired up correctly, I plugged the same setup with 3 batteries into a door outlet and it powered up and let me operate the door, but no achievment was given.
Here is a screenshot with all the color ports in view, all connected, 3 batteries in a door port, The only "appliances" are the charger and the door switches so I'm unaware of what I could be doing wrong.
I also tried getting the charger wired up to the petrol generator to see if i needed to repeatedly recharge the charger and "fully" charge all the batteries.
Could you tell me what you mean with this format?
Right now the wires leading from Appliance to batteries is in this order, starting with the appliance first.
RB - BR - RB - BR
Which is just in line with the + / - colors on the batteries.

I'll add this here incase anyone else has the same trouble understanding as me, such as Calyptos above.
By my understanding those horizontal sliding doors "turn off" in a sense because they stay open and are unresponsive after that, as Matt said, the vault meter doors are what's needed.
Does someone know why this does not work (Why I don't get the achievement, I mean). I think it is exactly the same as one of the screenshots in here. It's a vault meter door also...
Thanks for the help!
Absolutely no idea sadly you are right, it's identical to the screenshots.
My only rough geuss might be perhaps you are using the "dead" battery? the one you need to recharge using the big yellow charger, but that said charger is in the room with you I see so that is unlikely.
