My controller isn't letting me grab

I don't know why but my controller isn't working i have a Zd V+ controller will only Xbox controllers work

Yes it does work fine with other games, its just this one.

Could you try mapping keyboard/mouse grab controls to controller buttons (not sure if this will work), other route to go is launching the game with -show-screen-selector option and try remapping controls there. Please post if you got it working.

i was using mouse and kbd and when played splitscreen the xbox controller also doesn't hold on.

choose "relative" in for look mode in the button setting page

and reset your controller configuration on steam; set full pulls as right clicks
