In this type of games is something complicated, you can do it, but they don't give it as much importance, so they retain it. They allow you to personalize the character to have that illusion of making your story, your game, your fun, some do not pay attention to it and others do.
In my opinion, they don't do it because this type of games, when adding physical entities are bugged a lot, if this happens, it can generate errors in the game, not so harmful.

Anyway, at some point they'll add them, you just have to wait.
