Can't join friends lobby

Hi,

i have a problem with the multiplayer.
I can not join my steam friend (but random lobbys work just fine). Additionally he can not join me too, but he also can join random online lobbies.

Has anyone a fix for this?

Try checking your nat type. For both players it should be open.

Me and my friends had exactly same problem and we solved it by port forvarding these steam ports in our routers:

Steamworks P2P Networking and Steam Voice Chat
UDP 3478 (Outbound)
UDP 4379 (Outbound)
UDP 4380 (Outbound)

open the xbox app in windows 10, go to settings and press network. THere its gonna run a few tests and it will show your nat type

Thanks for the input guys. I could solve the issue.

I followed the troubleshooting link from the xbox app and got it working.
Basically it was "Solution 7: Check to see if Teredo connectivity is blocked by the home router when an IPv6 connection is detected"
