Accidently skipped almost the entire aztec level?

So i just finished this game, currently falling through the credits. I had a lot of fun, and I loved that there were lots of ways to do stuff. But im pretty sure i just skipped the 2/3rds of the last level just by making bridges over gaps and jumping at the right time and jamming doors open and I'm worried that I just cheesed my way through the entire game. Was there an intended route shortcut route or did i break the game?

the achievement for aztec is to "walk on the ball" to bypass a puzzle. I did walk on the ball, and did not receive the achievement. Sounds to me like you may have discovered something? did you walk on the ball at all? or can you be more specific on your playthrough. cheers

Yeah, I think I did the same thing. Got to the area with the lava flow, placed the block in front of the wall between the cages. Climbed up and over and walked to the top of the pyramid. Had to leave at that point, but when I restarted I was at the base. Made a ramp so the log would roll under the door when I pulled the weight. Walked under and the end of the hall fell to 'The End'.
